Any ideas?ĮDIT: I noticed in the error (core dumped) so I checked the system log again to see if anything was different (duh). $dirname/$appname too sure exactly what is happening in this script, I'm unfamiliar with the terms but I do notice its setting a system environment variable just unsure what it is. I notice the RPG Maker MV.sh error and decided to look at the. home/brank/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/RPG Maker MV/RPG Maker MV.sh: line 15: 12209 Aborted (core dumped) $dirname/$appname Noticed the cannot mix incompatible Qt library error which is weird considering its now pointing to the systems libQt5Core. GameAction : LaunchApp changed task to Completed with ""Ĭannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x50902) with this library (version 0x50903) GameAction : LaunchApp changed task to WaitingGameWindow with "" > Adding process 12203 for game ID 363890 GameAction : LaunchApp continues with user response "CreatingProcess" GameAction : LaunchApp waiting for user response to CreatingProcess "" GameAction : LaunchApp changed task to CreatingProcess with "" Unfortunately, the results are the application won't even open, so I ran the command to open the app via terminal and checked out the logs GameAction : LaunchApp changed task to SiteLicenseSeatCheckout with "" Then I made a symlink to my system libQt5Core.so.5 inside /usr/libs/ LibQt5Core.so.5 to _libQt5Core.so.5._bak inside ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/RPG Maker MV/ I tried your suggestion and simply renamed the original Try to remove that file and just put in a symlink to systems Qt5core Maybe there is a way to force kwin top use a different dialogue app for RPG Maker but this is outside of my skills and could use your help for any workaround available. If you need any more information feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do. I also have xfce4 installed and the software RPG Maker MV works fine with that desktop environment. Though, I don't know enough to assume this. What I gather is this is related to either an outdated RPG Maker libQt5Core.so.5 or a problem with the dialogue app used by Manjaro KDE, kDialogue I believe is whats used. #2 0x00007ff78b6e7a2e n/a (/home/brank/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/RPG Maker MV/libQt5Core.so.5) 10:46 AM systemd-coredump Process 23711 (RPG Maker MV) of user 1000 dumped core. K System Log displays this error on coredump: The application loads fine but when I go to open a project the dialogue window opens with no contents available inside, then crashes the entire application after a couple seconds. The problem I'm getting is related to a steam application "RPG Maker MV" which supports linux but unfortunately does not work with Manjaro KDE Plasma desktop enviroment. I hope this is a good spot for this problem, I'm a newbie to Manajro and its a 3 day old installation so I assumed it's good enough place to start.
